Cartoon
Foundry Hamilton 2026 first panel of the day runs from 10:30 to 11:30 in
Room F-118 at Mohawk College, Fennell Campus on Sunday, June 28. It's called
"Sisterhood of the Panelled Page"
and takes a look at the story telling connections between animation,
illustration, and cartooning. What inspires these women artists to create their
vivid worlds, characters and stories. With area artists Fiona Smyth, Evine Abbasy,
Sharifa Patrick, and Sylvia Nickerson. This will be expertly moderated by
astute friend of comics, Robin Fisher. Come, listen, and share your thoughts at this free event.
The line up of the third panel of the day (Sunday, June 28)
from 1:30 to 2:30 at Cartoon Foundry 2026 in Rm F-118 at Mohawk College,
Fennell Campus in Hamilton. The topic of the panel is "Do
Our Graphic Novels Have a Distinct Canadian Flavour?" with Fiona Smyth, Seth, Joe Ollman and Ho Che Anderson. It will be
followed by a signing session.
